What is a gicleé print?

All of our art prints are produced using a process called gicleé. Gicleé comes from the French word meaning 'to spray' and it refers to a process of printing used in making fine art prints, in which pigment based inks are combined with high quality archival paper. The resulting prints have more range of tone and colour, and are generally less vulnerable to fade under light. We use this process to ensure that you receive a crisp, satisfying reproduction of the original artwork.

The prints are produced on a museum-quality fine art print paper with a textured, matt finish. Window mounts are produced using FSC certified card.

How will I receive my print?

Your gicleé print is produced on high quality archival paper and then rolled and shipped in a tube. If you have ordered a framed print, it will arrive ready for hanging.

 

How will I receive my canvas print?

Our canvas prints are made using a finely textured artist-grade cotton canvas, and stretched over professional artist stretcher bars milled from the finest quality kiln-dried knotless pine.

Each canvas print comes with a 100+ year colour guarantee.

What are your frames made of? 

Our frames are created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish. They are available in black, white, or natural finish. All wood is sourced from FSC-certified forests.

Where will my print be produced?

Our suppliers have facilities all around the world. In order to get your order to you as soon as possible, they'll produce your order at the facility closest to you, which will also save precious shipping miles and make the whole process more ecological.
